Prairie Books is a small independent publisher located in Southwest Kansas
Our mission is to keep the history of our area alive. Cimarron Chronicles was our first
endeavor, soon followed by Trails South by C. Robert Haywood, a book that had been out of
print for some time. Our next title will be 50 Years on the Owl Hoot Trail by Harry Chrisman.
It should be in print by the fall of 2007. Please check back often
to see what we've added. We also sell titles by other publishers in our store,
specializing in history of Southwest Kansas and the Oklahoma Panhandle.
